The first decision is whether each person wants to drive their own quad bike or share a two-seat vehicle. Our Ubud single-rider ATV package is priced at IDR 750,000 per person for 1 rider on 1 automatic ATV, with a minimum rider age of 15 years.
If you are travelling as a couple, with a child aged 7 or older, or with someone who prefers to enjoy the scenery as a passenger, the Ubud tandem ATV package for two costs IDR 1,400,000 per tandem (covering 2 persons: 1 driver aged 15+ and 1 passenger). All quad bikes are fully automatic, so no driving license or manual gear shifting is required, and every session starts with a safety briefing and test loop at basecamp.
How long the ATV ride takes and which route to choose
Across our Ubud and Payangan tracks, the guided ATV ride itself lasts 1–1.5 hours depending on group pace and trail conditions. Once you factor in hotel pickup, registration, gearing up with helmets and rubber boots, showering afterwards and the included lunch, you should allow roughly half a day in total.

What to wear and pack for a muddy trail
Expect water splashes and mud along the river and cave sections, especially after tropical rain. Wear comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dirty, sport socks to slip inside the provided rubber riding boots, and sunscreen.
Bring a full change of dry clothes, underwear, a small plastic bag for wet garments, and a waterproof phone pouch if you want photos at the mid-ride stop. Lockers, changing rooms and hot showers are provided at basecamp so you can wash up and enjoy your meal comfortably before heading back to your hotel.
